I really appreciate short cozy mysteries--and this author is a master at writing them!
Oakley Ranch has a great and fun bunch of seniors living there. They are always planning some type of activity. Whoever thinks seniors just sit around and do nothing--has never met seniors like these. My Mother was one of them--they all seem to love to party!! This community is really safe so people get shocked when something bad occurs--like murder or theft. Of course seniors are pretty nosey as well!! Luckily Sarah has a retired police dog---and who better then Jethro to find clues!!
About the Book: (from Amazon)
Welcome to Oakley Ranch: An Active Adult Community just outside of Phoenix, Arizona. Cinco de Mayo is a great time at Oakley Ranch. A Swap Meet and a Large Raffle. Lots of fun with a Mexican flavor.
A good time with lots of park guests.
As the swap startup routine begins something unforeseen is found. The body of Jesse, the yard guy. Shot twice.
Detective Ferguson and Officer Rizzo are at Oakley Ranch again.
As usual, Sarah Sandberg and her neighbor, Mary, are right in the middle of things.
Then Sarah’s dog, Jethro, becomes the missing link in solving the murder (2).
