Have You Done Your Income Taxes Yet?

I have been putting off doing my taxes this year-but today I bit the bullet and did mine at least. I am so tired that I will put off doing my Mom's until tomorrow. I had the figures ready--but wasn't sure where to do them.

I went to the place I did them last year but now they switched something and I would need one of those smart phones to access it, which I do not have. Thankfully I have a copy of last years-but I had to find a new company that hopefully was free for both the Fed and the State! I googled but it confused me so I ended up going to IRS.gov where they have a place that helps you decide!! I found one-I went and signed up. I figured it would be easier if I used a company instead of just filling out all the free forms by myself.

It took longer then I thought it would--they really had lots and lots of questions that needed to be answered-which is why I will do Mom's tomorrow. For hers I will use the same one I used for her last years so it should be a bit easier--on my eyes at least!

Wish me luck--I can use it!! Off to take a nap and rest these weary old eyes
