This novel is about 5 friends who learn that working together can combat evil and save their town and the towns nearby from some real bullies! It is definitely part fantasy with lights from somewhere else that need their help to save the nectar. They do have to sneak around for quite a bit until their parents realize something is up!
They venture into the forbidden forest where each of them receives a different super power. Druth-a boy who is super bad wants to rule the world and all around him. He thinks he had a horrific childhood and can't seem to get over it. It is Druth that the boys must overcome. With the help of the stranger and then an additional stranger they manage. There is a twist in this story having to do with Druth and the stranger.
I have a feeling that this was written for young teens but even adults will enjoy it. I know I did. Good vs Evil -which will ultimately win?
