The four friends were on a vacation--they had spent 1/2 in England where they had to help the police solve a mystery. Then they went to an exclusive resort in Seychelles! There was a wedding going to take place. The women met 2 of the brides family as they were checking in. They were surprised to find out that the group was from Texas-as they were American's as well. They eventually met the entire entourage in different settings and got to know them enough that they were invited to the wedding party!
This family had the usual assortment of problems-sibling rivalry etc. Plus the Mom was invited even though the Dad had a different wife-who wasn't too pleased the ex would be there. But it was the Bride's Mother----
They were about to get married-but the father, who would be walking the bride down the aisle--was late? Well, actually he was found murdered! Now who did this. The island police asked Kat to help him. They ultimately found and apprehended the culprit-but who was it?
This resort sounds like Paradise to me--I felt that I could almost be there-walking the sandy beach and eating the most delicious foods imaginable. The scenes were described so you really felt like you were there! Of course there are some of the recipes at the end!
About the Book: (from Amazon)
Their vacation to a group of tropical paradise islands called Seychelles was a dream come true until the father of the bride was murdered moments before the beachside wedding!
When Kat and her friends took a vacation trip to Seychelles, they were planning on spending some time snorkeling in the Indian Ocean, enjoying the food of Seychelles, and exploring the island of Mahé.
What they weren't planning on was becoming involved in solving the murder of the father of the bride. And nearly all of the members of the large, wealthy, Texas family, of which the victim was the patriarch, had a motive to commit murder.
When a man has an affair with a much younger woman and leaves his long-time wife and the mother of his four adult children for her, it's bound to leave some scars. But which of the scarred people murdered the big Texas oil tycoon?
Join Kat, her friends, the police, and Harry, a three-legged dog, as they hurry to catch the suspect before the killer leaves the island!

No I haven't been to a destination wedding. I've not been to very many weddings.
I haven’t been to a destination wedding, but I did attend my friend’s wedding that was out state from me. There definitely were some other bridesmaids who caused a little drama. Thanks for the review and giveaway.
No, I haven't been to a destination wedding.

No to both questions.
No - we have been invited but the trip would have been too long and expensive...Gratefully we have no family drama - everyone either gets along or is smart enough to shut up!
I've never been to a destination wedding before.
My daughter had her wedding in the mountains. The view was gorgeous. I think destination weddings work best with a very limited guest list.
No I haven't but it would be fun.
I have never been to a destination wedding. Even though that experience would be fun and adventurous I would never be able to go due to finances. I am pretty lucky that no family members of mine cause problems.
I have never been to any wedding.

No, sadly I have not had the chance. My cousin did a cruise wedding, but I wasn't able to afford it.
I've never been to a destination wedding.
Unfortunately, my husband has a family member that wants to be the center of attention and is not a good person. He's caused a lot of problems for my family and is not welcome in our home.
I have never been to a destination wedding.
No, sadly I have not. That sounds lovely though!
No this is the first I have heard of destination wedding.
Sounds like it would be a lot of fun!
No I have never been to a destination wedding. In general, if it is an exotic and expensive sort of destination, I don't think it is thoughtful of the couple to expect friends and family to incur such great travel expense to attend their wedding.
