It has been ages since I made any kind of roast. Living alone has it's downside but as I was shopping the other day I spied a small round roast and it was on sale! I could not resist---I figured I would be able to finish it all before it went bad. I made it yesterday.
All I did was cover it with Garlic and Onion Powder--put it in a disposible roasting pan (actually it was small enough it fit into a disposible cake pan)--into the oven it went. Right, wrong or indifferent I had the oven set to 325 degrees. This piece had one of those pop up things and I actually waited until it popped up! I took it out of the oven and let it sit for a while. Then I sliced it. It was really good!
There are lots of ways to make roasts and since eye roast isn't the most tender of beef you might want to look up some recipes. Here is a good place to check some out. It also has lots of other information about beef.
One of these days I might even use a recipe-but don't hold your breathe!!
