Book Review-A Killer Cupcake (A Beachfront Bakery Cozy Mystery—Book 1)-Fiona Grace

This clean cozy had me shaking my head at times in wonder and laughing out loud other times.

Allison Sweet was a pastry chef in the French tradition. She worked at a prestigious restaurant as a sou chef who only had one job--to make creme brule. Her boss was impossible and finally one day she quit (you will laugh at what she does just before) and her boss fired her at the same time. She goes home to her free loading boyfriend--he tells her he is leaving her--. She goes to meet up with her brother at a boardwalk and is accosted by a monkey and a fortune teller----

While walking the boardwalk with her brother she spots a vacant store--she always wanted to own her own bakery-------

There are a couple of twists and turns as Allison tries to figure out who murdered a man--she knows she didn't do it--but everyone else seems to think she did!

I am sure that you will enjoy this one--and I for one am looking forward to the others as they come out in this new series.
