$25 Amazon/PP-1-WW Murdered for Millions-Dianne Harman Ends 8/1

Friday, July 17, 2020

The town finally voted Seth--the police chief out of office! Liz was finally feeling as though she could give up amateur sleuthing since the new police chief, Mike knew what he was doing. That is until there was a murder--Mike cane down with viral pneumonia and his second in command was also out of commission.

Four young people had created an app which they were about to sell for millions of dollars. They were staying at a cabin not too far from Liz's B&B. They were about to go get some dinner at Gertys Diner when one of them-Alex-started throwing up--she stayed behind as the others took off. Then someone broke into the cabin and shot Alex in the head-she died immediately.

Now who would do something like that? Liz was asked by Mike to try and figure it out. Seth, the police chief was was voted out of office-tried to worm himself in---

Alex's parents came and stayed at Liz's B&B--they were anything but nice and were extremely demanding. Then a timid woman called-she had the same last name. When the parents found out that this woman was coming they threw a fit--but come she did!

There were quite a few suspects-it wasn't until almost the end that they were caught-and the reason for the murder was figured out.

I have always loved butternut squash soup--a recipe for that and a couple of other delicious sounding recipes are in the back of the book!!

About the Book: (from Amazon)

A computer app that was going to bring in millions,
Developed by four young techies.
The founder of the group is murdered,
But was it murder or a burglary gone terribly wrong?

Even though Liz vows not to become involved in the case, when the new chief of police and his assistant both come down with pneumonia, she has no choice, because the killer may get away.

And could the murderer be one of the guests staying at her Red Cedar Lodge & Spa?

Sometimes it’s a very good thing when a big boxer has your back. And it’s not the first time Winston has had to play that role!

Enjoy this page-turner, the 13th book in the Liz Lucas Cozy Mystery Series, by a USA Today Bestselling Author and Amazon All Star. As always, plenty of dogs and recipes.

I would not give into greed, I am too ethical. I don't need the money to make me happy. I have not listened to any audio books.

I hope that greed would not cause me to do something unthinkable. I can't imagine that it would. 1/4 million would be plenty for me. I don't listen to audiobooks.

Deb PelletierC said...

greed no. and one million is enough. I like some audiobooks.

Shirley OFlynn said...

I would not do the unthinkable because of greed. I would be happy to split the money and it would be enough for me. I like to listen to audiobooks.

There isn’t enough money in the world for me to do something unthinkable. Splitting a million dollars four ways would be more than enough money for me. I did see a Facebook post about Dianne’s audiobooks. I’ve never listened to an audiobook.

James Robert said...

I'd have no problem sharing and I'd not be tempted to do the unthinkable.

I like audio books, Hardback books and paperback books, I guess if it has anything to do with a book I like it then lol

I would like to think that I would not give in to greed. I have often thought I wouldn’t mind having more disposable income but too much might change my appreciation for what I have. I don’t think I would ever do the unthinkable, though.

I have tried audio books but tend to nod off while listening. I don't think I could do anything unthinkable.

Calvin F. said...

I wouldn't do that. I have only listened to audio books once or twice, I don't mind it it though.

I would hope greed would not rule me. Any extra money would be nice.

I wouldn't do anything "unthinkable" or bad but I really wouldn't want to split it 4 ways either. I have not yet listened to any audiobooks

Living on SSI.. I wouldn't know what to do with myself, with funds. I sure wouldn't be greedy.. I would be thankful for any split I had. I have auditory epilepsy and probably couldn't listen to audio books.

Any amount of money that I did not work for would be amazing....With 4 million I could share it and help so many family and friends.. I listen to audio books occasionally but since I do not go to the beach often anymore listening is much less than in the past....

I would not let money make me greedy I would be happy to share it

Julie Waldron said...

No, I would not give in to greed. I would have too much guilt. If I split the money 4 ways, that'd leave me enough to live on. No, I don't listen to audio books.

Lisa said...

I wouldn't give in to greed and I would happily share!

I would be fine with splitting the money four ways. Why risk going to jail and not being able to spend it? I have always been a saver rather than a spender. I know how to get the most for my money. I'd be thrilled to have a million dollars or even $250K.

I wouldn't let greed get the best of me in my current stage of life. I'm 39 and been through a lot and learned a lot of life lessons. A 4-way split would be great with me because it's more than I had before. I do like audio books I just don't currently have an audible subscription. -

I would be happy to split the money. I would make sure that the other three people got more than me.

As for audio books, I haven't listened to one, but would like to.

I would like to that that I wouldn't be greedy. I definitely think I could live with splitting the money.

As far as audiobooks go, I do not listen to those. I process information better when I'm reading it.

I sincerely hope greed would never make me do do something unthinkable! I would be happy to split a large sum four ways :)

I would be happy splitting it. Every bit helps, you can't let greed get in the way of happiness.

I don't think I'm greedy and hope I wouldn't be tempted. Not even for a cool mill. I like audiobooks a lot. Especially while driving.

I don't think I'd do something unthinkable for greed. Yes, millions (even split) would be more than enough for me. I don't usually listen to audiobooks.

I like to hope I would not get greedy over money!

I would not do anything horrible for money and millions split 4 ways would be good for me. I do not listen to audio book. I read print books only. It seems I lose my concentration when listening to someone else instead of me reading it. Plus I like the feel of the book as I read it. Thanks for the chance.

slehan said...

Lots of Questions so one by one:

Would you let greed cause you to do something unthinkable? I want to say no, but I've never been put in that situation so....

If you were to split millions 4 ways-would that be enough for you? Gosh yes, I'm a teacher...I play the lottery for my retirement

As an aside-do you know that Dianne has audiobooks-do you like to listen to books? No.. and I do sometimes if we travel.
