I am truly enjoying the Harry Hunter series! This one has lots of twists and turns and a couple of surprises that I did not see coming!
Hunter's wife had been in a coma-then a vegetative state for a long while. Their daughter, a teen, was missing her Mom. She began to come out of it a little. Of course Hunter had begun to lose hope and realized that Jean-their next door neighbor was the one he really wanted to be with. Jean had been in live with Hunter since the day they met. Except she and Hunter's wife were best friends! Jean, who happened to be a nurse help care for the wife and the entire family actually.
Hunter allows a medical procedure to be preformed on his wife--and it works. But she then tells him her secrets from before they met----
Meanwhile Hunter is still doing his job as a Detective and gets involved with a really hot mess!!
