Maybe because I am stuck at home but after many years I have actually started combining items to make to eat that I never really tried before.
Like last night--I took a red pepper and cut off the top-cleaned it out. Took a can of tuna in water put in a bowl and smashed it up a bit. Diced some onion and mixed it in with the tuna. I stuffed it in the pepper. Then I took a spoonful or two of bottled spaghetti sauce-kind of pushed that through. I added a slice of Swiss cheese on top. I wrapped it in aluminum foil and put it in the oven (325 degrees) for an hour or so. Took it out put it on a plate--added some Italian bread crumbs. It turned out delicious and almost nothing to wash afterwards!!!!
Tonight I took a pre-breaded chicken cutlet--spooned some Spaghetti sauce on top--then added a slice of Mozzarella. I lined an aluminum foil pan with aluminum foil so I could reuse the pan! Chicken Parmasan with no muss or fuss!! I guess I could make some spaghetti to go with it--but I probably won't.
My next try will be an omelet. I have some liquid egg in the house. Will chop up a pepper and dice some onion then add a couple of slices of deli low sodium ham--sounds a bit like a Western Omelet--well I'll see. And I do make stuffed peppers with hamburger all the time!!
Do you ever make something with only the things you have in the house.

A lot of people are sure doing a lot more cooking. And you have to get a little creative sometimes because you don't want to go out to the store or just out of sheer boredom, lol.
