Thursday, April 2, 2020

This one will have your head spinning as Liz gets involved with not just one-but two mysteries. A young woman is found murdered but who did it? Then Liz gets a visit from an ex police officer turned private Investigator. A different young girl has been kidnapped and he is trying to find her. Everyone except the Sheriff gets involved--he is too busy writing speeding tickets--until Liz and the PI come up with some viable murder suspects-and there are quite a few.

Be sure to read the recipes at the end-they will definitely have your mouth watering!!

About the Book: (from Amazon)

Former cop Michael Hessop arrives in Red Cedar with a mission - track down a teen girl named Delaney Sparrow and the predator who convinced her to run away from her family.

He finds out about Liz Lucas' reputation for being an amazing amateur sleuth from the owner of Gertie’s Diner, and teams up with Liz and her dogs, Brandy Boy and Winston.

The dead body of a young girl is found in the woods with a note saying the killer 'will strike again.’ The killer makes an anonymous call, taunting that he's got a girl tied up somewhere in Red Cedar, and if she's not found in three days, he'll kill her, too.

Is the murdered body Delaney Sparrow or is she the one who’s tied up? It’s a race against time for Liz, Michael, and the dogs.

This is the 12th book in the Liz Lucas Cozy Mystery Series by a US Today Bestselling Author and Amazon All-Star.

I think the killer and the kidnapper are the same person. I'm not sure about sheriff, but I think she would make a great (professional) detective! She's already got amateur detective down pretty well!

i think it's different people. no one wants to be sheriff, hahah. leave her as a freelancer, more freedom!

I think she ought to let the sheriff take over, but, knowing the author, I'll bet she solves it.

She would undoubtedly make a better sherriff. After all, she already has her detective skills down pat. Can't wait to find out if there is one killer or two

Liz gets involved in 2 mysteries-1 a murder and 1 a kidnapping-do you think it is the same person or separate altogether. Do you think Liz would make a better Sheriff then the one currently there?

This is a hard question because the goal of the book is to make you think one thing and then to change your mind. I think it is 2 people working together. Of course she would make a better sheriff unless
