Have you had a dog or a cat go missing--it has to be the most frightening feeling in the world! And just try to imagine that you were pretty sure your baby was dog napped--and found a syringe with a knock out drug in it!!
That's what happened to Alexandra--and even though she found lost pets as a living--when it was her own she had trouble keeping it together--and who could blame her! Luckily she had employees and friends who helped her.
But why did they take her dog--and why did it take so long for the perpetrators to send a ransom note?
This is definitely a book for animal lovers of all kinds!!
Don't get overly worried--although I am sure you will--there is a happy ending!

Looks like a great read and something I'd definitely pick up!
I kind of like the concept of an investigator that reunites pets and people. That's pretty unique.
