This is one historical romance you will not want to miss! It has a bit of everything in it--a devoted Duke and his ailing mother--a love that is not allowed but flourishes anyway and a ghost that is haunting the Duke's abode--but only after Marybeth comes to try and heal his mother.
There are a million twists and turns in this one and a couple of dastardly high society men as well.
Why is the Dutchess ailing--none of the physicians of the day have a clue--will Felix really have to marry someone he does not want to--will they be able to track down the ghost? Will the treasure ever be found? The ending will astound you as the real parentage of Marybeth is revealed!
I absolutely adored this novel and the extended novella makes it even better if that is possible!
