Lady is truly finding her magical power in this one. She is called upon to find a missing little boy and she does! But then others go missing in the woods and Lady can not seem to find them. The missing girl's friends are frantic and beg Lady to keep helping. Mrs. Poole, her landlady and mentor finally gives her something that might help her--and she speaks to the creepy other occupant of the inn. He isn't really any help--but does give her a very important clue!
All I can say is thank heavens for Lady's cat familiar (Lion)!!
I was able to read this in one sitting--it will keep you guessing until the very end!
