Whenever my stomach is hurting, whether from excess gas or having eaten something that did not agree with me, like yesterday-I can't always resist spicy foods and this time a SALAD got to me- the OTC stomach remedies are just not working--I head straight for the box of Peppermint Tea that I always have in my pantry. It invariably does the trick--no more pain!!!!! Gas leaves (make sure you are alone if you can) and my sore tummy is soothed.
It does have to be JUST Peppermint or it does not work. It is sometimes hard to find in the grocery stores--and don't even try to buy just a cup anywhere--that is almost always a mint medley of some sort.
Thankfully I have 3 boxes of Twinings PURE Peppermint tea in my pantry.
I wonder what got to me in that salad? Oh well--I won't be eating that particular salad again!
