Lady is a witch in training--even though she sometimes doubts that her land lady is really showing her anything. All she seems to be doing is chores around the hotel! Then Connor has a problem-a BIG one--a ghost is stalking his nights and sleep isn't all that it should be. Mrs. Poole decides that Lady should try and solve this mystery!
I'm starting to like this series more and more--the mystery surrounding all this--will Lady figure it out? Will she be able (with the help of her friends) to put this apparition to rest?
I honestly could not stop reading this one until I knew the answers!

About the Book:(from Amazon)
Police Chief Conners always struck Lady as a nice guy. He might be a little serious, but he has a good heart. When Lady hears he’s in trouble, she’s happy to help. A malevolent shadow has been visiting him nightly, and it doesn’t appear to be just a figment of his imagination.Could this shadowy presence be tied to his past somehow? It seems like a distinct possibility. Lady employs the help of some of her new friends in Dark Lake to help her dive into a crime that happened years in the past. There’s a mystery there and more to unravel than immediately meets the eye. Will the shadowy figure haunting Conners depart even if they solve the mystery surrounding it? Lady isn’t sure, but she has to try.Third Volume of the Dark Lake Chronicles Series. Approximately 52,000 words in length. It is a standalone (reading prior or future volumes not required to enjoy the book, no cliffhanger).
