A Love So Sweet introduces the readers to two amazing characters - Max Armstrong and Treat Braden.
Max and Treat start their relationship with some misunderstandings based on not taking the time to talk and by the end of the story, they are able to joke about their beginning and realize how important it is to communicate when there is an issue instead of making assumptions.
I love how Max and Treat learn together that a relationship includes "give and take" and that they are not going to lose themselves by becoming flexible for another person who will help them get to happily ever after. The way the two of them learn to "slay their dragons" creates an idea that when you put your mind to it, you can slay your dragons...sometimes you just need to find a person worth slaying your own personal dragons for.
