I am sure glad I always heed my Mother's advice---if you don't have something nice to say--don't say it! AND Karma can be a B------- (my saying not my Mom's!) Our newscaster, who loves reporting in a sensationalist way has made many enemies along the way. As a matter of fact if you read the previous book in this series Murdered at the Courthouse (see my review here) you may remember that she tried to frame Kat's husband for murder! Kat managed to exonerate him with the help of his private eye brother-but it left both Kat and her husband with a bad taste in their mouths.
So when this newscaster's husband was brutally murdered--well not even the police were very interested!
Then Kat was asked by this woman to try and find her husband's killer. There were several reasons why Kat said okay----one of the main reasons--well-you will have to read this book to find out. There were a lot of suspects and more twists and turns to keep you guessing. It also will give you insight into an author's writing process--it is not easy!
Of course the recipes are to die for and can be found at the end of the book!
