I found the most luscious looking very large already to eat shrimp when I went shopping today. I generally always have prepared horseradish in my refrigerator. The perfect cocktail sauce for one is to add ketchup to some of the horseradish. Leave it to me---no horseradish to be found-I must have used it up! Well I wasn't about to let that shrimp go to waste---even though I am allergic to shellfish-the iodine actually. I LOVE shrimp. and lobster and always figure itching a bit all night is well worth the taste. I did find some horseradish powder in my pantry--I sometimes use that on steak when it is cooking. So I mixed some ketchup with that-----not the same as the Gold's White Horseradish I usually have on hand--but it worked. At least I did not have to grate the horseradish--that was my job way back when--you think onions are bad? Try grating horseradish root!!
