As a bookkeeper (semi retired) I do try to keep up with a lot of different aspects of finance. When a gentleman emailed me and asked if I would put a link up for him-of course I went in and looked first! This has some of the best information on the internet banking industry that I have seen. It even answered some of my questions. Did you know that some online banks don't even have checking accounts--no neither did I!
I ended up reading the entire article and think you will too!
In the gentlemen's words "In summary, our guide covers how online bankings works, whether it's a safe alternative to traditional banking, the advantages & disadvantages, online banking regulations, and more."
Now here is the link that will help you understand what is going on--which on-line only banks do what and gives the pros and cons on several different banks.
I, personally, will stick to a bank that has actual brick buildings that I can go to on occasion-although I do use their on-line as well.
Now CLICK HERE --to learn a lot and avoid any mistakes on the way.

Thanks so much for sharing, great article. I am with you though, I prefer a bank with a building!
Helpful explanations. Thanks for sharing.
This is a great post. We do most of ours online honestly.
(Do You REALLY Understand On-Line Only Banking?) I did do on-line banking a few years ago when I had my personal checking account years ago. But right now we do not do any with our accounts because of hackers being able to get too much information anymore.
Online banking is the best way to bank! I've been doing it for years. Super quick and no postage stamps!!
I agree. Online banking is great...but still have to have that brick and mortar with real people to visit!
I only trust brick and mortar to do my money business!
I do most of my banking online but it's nice having the option if a face to face transaction.
I thought I did, but clearly really don't understand it. Thanks for the info
I am still learning, I do half of it online, trying to stay safe. It's convenient.
Good advice.
I really like online banking! So quick and useful!
I don't do online banking. I worry about my account getting hacked.
Very cool

I have been with my bank since '89 and admittedly disliked having to go in brick and mortar banks. I was so thrilled when ATMs started up and even more so when on-line banking started up. Certain things I will not do on-line, however I research first!
Such a needed post
while I am signed up for online banking, I am still pretty much old school and still have a lot to learn. Thank you for the informative post!
Very informative post, thanks for sharing! I think it is almost impossible to not have online banking these days.
I have been online banking with a real building for years. I don't think I have wrote a real check in 6 yr or more. I don't know that I would feel comfortable not knowing my bank/online bank.
I appreciate the information. I do check my balance online but do prefer to do my banking in building! I am just old school!
Thanks so much for sharing!
Awesome! I should check it out!
Great article. Good information. But I agree with some of the other comments...I prefer a brick and mortar building to bank with. I like being able to walk in and ask questions.
This is the way to go. So handy and not complicated.I can check my account any time I want.
I don't understand online-banking. The post was very informative.
very informative but I think I will keep with my traditional bank
Thank you! Thank you! I've been considering online banking and had a lot of questions. Not any more. All questions answered. Very informative.
Thanks for the information. I also did not know that some online banks don't have checking accounts.

As I do all my banking online, I feel I am pretty comfortable with it. However, I would never say I know it all! Thanks for sharing!
