See that sweet little devil up there? She is as picky as they come--She has to sniff anything I am about to eat. Most times she will remain lying on her chair--not interested. Don't let me walk by with either ham or roast beef from the deli or tuna fish---suddenly she jumps off that chair and follows me--jumps up to where ever I am eating and won't leave until I give her a little. Luckily she only wants a little!!
What really surprised me is she seems to love Peppermint Tea. Now I read up on it and although it really isn't all that good for cats she insists on licking up a little bit-which they say will not hurt her. It is strange because she does not like catnip (it seems that peppermint is in the same family as catnip-who knew).
Come to think of it my dogs used to eat grass when their stomachs were upset---maybe that is what she is doing? I mean really--that is why I drink Peppermint tea-when my stomach is upset.
I grew up on tea and have a variety of different teas in my apartment--but I also have lots of coffee. And the one tea that was always in my Mom's apartment was English Breakfast tea--I made a cup the other evening--I had forgotten how much I really love it!! Luckily my cat does not!!
