These alphabet blocks will surely make learning the ABC's easy as pie--well that song helps--you remember that don't you. I still sing it in my head every once in a while to remember where each letter is placed! Writing can be a chore but is an essential life skill in my opinion. I realize that computers have kind of taken over hand writing in many cases--but getting children excited about holding a pencil and actually writing down those letters--and maybe forming them into words!!
ZIPIT Monster Pencil Case
The durable ZIPIT Monster Pencil Cases are super cute. Whether you use the case for schooling or even just as a case for pencils in your child's activity bag, these pencil cases get kids excited about writing! The monster themed pencil cases have a zipper mouth. Look how cute and colorful they are!Bright Letter Blocks from Learning Resources
Although these may look like just toys, they are really learning pieces! When a child can use multiple senses, they will retain more information. These blocks are not the traditional square blocks with the letter written that offer the visual aspect only. These blocks are in the SHAPE of the letters which adds the sense of touch to the learning experience. While your children play, they are also learning! I wish I had learned my letter by PLAYING instead of just having to write my letters over and over!Be sure to read Amy's review on Mom Does Reviews HERE.

My 2 granddaughters are in different grades. The 11 1/2 year old started 7th grade and has many subjects while the 7 year old started 2nd grade. If I won, I'd give the blocks to my niece who's in preschool and the cute pencil cases to my 7 year old granddaughter and her cousin.
