More then a bit racy but the story line is really good!
Desire Cleary was brought up by her Dad after her flighty Mom took off with her half sister when Desire was about 5. She has never really gotten over this. She also would love to connect with her sister and have a relationship with her. Desire is everything her Mom is not--she teaches school, is shy and tends to be very cautious in relationships.
Then she gets a letter from her Mom who she hasn't heard from in a very long time--Her Mom tells her that she is dying and Desire just has to go to her grandmother's house (which i now actually her Mom's. She goes--on;y to find out that her Mom is not dying--just needs to fly away to reconnect with herself--Then her sister shows up---Two totally different individuals--then a puppy is brought to the door by an irate neighbor. Of course it turns out the neighbor is the guy who was staring at her from his jet-ski--then splashed her by accident--
Will these two very different sisters learn to live with one another? Will Desire be able to lower her guard with the hunk of a stranger? I found myself grabbing for the tissues at the very very happy ending!!
Fall in love at Bayside, where sandy beaches, good friends, and true love come together in the sweet small towns of Cape Cod.
BAYSIDE SUMMERS is a series of standalone steamy romance novels featuring alpha male heroes and sexy, empowered women. They're fun, flirty, flawed, deeply emotional, always passionate, and easy to relate to.
In Bayside Desires...
As the co-owner of Bayside Resorts, Rick Savage has a fabulous job working with his best friends and brother, and a thriving business in Washington, DC, which he’ll be returning to at the end of the summer. Spending time with his family is great, but being back on Cape Cod has unearthed painful memories. When sweet, smart, and overly cautious Desiree Cleary moves in next door, Rick is drawn to the sexy preschool teacher, and she just might prove to be the perfect distraction.
Running an art gallery was not in preschool teacher Desiree Cleary’s plans, but after being tricked into coming to her impetuous, unreliable mother’s aid, she’s stuck spending the summer with the badass half sister she barely knows and a misbehaving dog. If that’s not frustrating enough, she can’t escape the sparks igniting with her strikingly handsome and pushy neighbor, Rick, who makes all her warning bells go off.
Passion ignites as Desiree and Rick spend long summer nights sharing heartfelt confessions and steamy kisses. For the first time in years Rick is enjoying life again instead of hiding behind mounds of work miles away from his family. Desiree has touched him in a way that makes him want to slow down. Only slowing down means dealing with his demons, and he isn’t sure who he’ll be when he comes out the other side.

Yay! I'm so happy you enjoyed the start of Bayside! Thank you for joining the tour and for your wonderful review OXOXO
Sounds like an interesting read. I love that guys tattoo on the cover! :)
I've been reading trilogies lately and this sounds like a fun read for summer.
It would be called Living! Because I can't imagine anything so beautiful as the beach and ocean right outside my sliding glass doors. This book sounds amazing. Mostly positive and obviously the end will be fantastic. A bad or un-chosen situation ending up great is my idea of a good thing. Besides I have never heard of a bad review from one of Melissa Foster's books.
