Long before I started book blogging--I read and loved Teresa Medeiros' novels!! I think I have read most of them-and reviewed 5 or 6 on my blog. She makes the characters come alive, even the minor characters, and no matter what there is always a comical touch to them. If you enjoy Historical Romance you are sure to love this one. It starts out as a kind of Cinderella story-but not really and what has to happen to get Sebastian (the man-not the cat)and Prudence together--well you will have to read it to find out!!

It is always nice to have authors that do a good job bringing characters alive through their writing. I am not into romantic novels but appreciate good writing skills.

Although I favor Crime/mystery/suspense novels over romance novels, I still think this book, Heather and Velvet would be a good choice for anyone looking for a great romance book to read. Thank you for the review.
I don't read Romance novels but I do like historical fiction and adding in some humour is always a good thing in any book

I would love to read this book only if there were enough hours in the day! Sometimes it great to get lost in a romance and this one is one I could easily get lost in.
Heather and Velvet a historical romance with pronounced characters and humor mixed in sure sounds like a good read.
