This is the sixth book in this series. In the first Running with Wild Blood (see my review here)introduces Richard Lake and Moriah Dru. It may help but I honestly think this book can be read as a stand alone.
There are definite twists and turns in this novel and multiple murders. Moriah Dru has been hired by the Saudi Arabian prince to find his missing wife and daughter--but what is the real reason? Dru has her suspicions. However she decides to take on the case as this is the type of case that she excels at--finding missing children.
The ending has a major twist --and what you will probably think--is wrong!!
About the Book: (from Amazon)
Saudi Arabian prince, Husam al Saliba, hires Dru to find his missing wife, Reeve and daughter, Shahrazad (Shara).
The investigation begin when Husam tells of falling in love with Reeve, of turning his back on his ascendancy to the Saudi power structure for the woman he loves. He talks of his king’s disapproval of him marrying and siring an infidel. But does he really want to return to the good graces of the royal family and marry Aya and be an heir to kingship? Confused Dru thinks she’s fallen into a fairy tale. After all the prince is fond of reciting tales from the Arabian Nights.
The investigation had just begun when Reeve’s parents, Lowell and Donna Cresley are killed. That brings the Atlanta police into the case and it’s soon evident infidelity abounds and everyone has something dreadful to hide.

This is perfect for my Mom! She's an avid reader and loves romance novels with a plot. I'm sending this over to her. Thanks for the review!!!!
I like that it has a twist. I'm curious now, since it's been predicted it's not a twist most people will like, yet the book still sounds like it is well thought out and written. I may give this one a go! Thanks, Michele.
Ooh, that plot sounds super interesting. I'm curious to find out what happened to the missing wife and daughter.
This sounds like it could be intersting. Not my usually type of book but maybe ill try it!

Looks like this book is going to keep me flipping through its pages until I finally get to the ending. It would be hard to put down a book like this. Interesting and full of mystery!
I soooo enjoy stories that have a twist at the end, especially those I'm not expecting. I may just have to bump this up on my reading list.
