Alex Trout is finally going to take a much needed vacation with her kids to the town where she grew up. She is hoping to see her Dad--if he is in any condition to see them. She will be staying with one of her friends from back then. Like Alex, this friend has also lost her husband--but has done really well for herself in the real estate business. Meanwhile a new drug cartel is trying to take over--and bullets begin to fly!

This book certainly has a lot of plot twists. I think that all the action will keep the reader coming back for more, page after page.
