Which is what I did with Vitamin D.
The doctor told me to get it over the counter and take the 1000 unit once a day. Ok, don't know why all of a sudden I need it--but a Vitamin pill once a day I can handle. I know better then to go to any of the walk in places--the pills they sell are just too large to get down my throat--so I went over to Puritan's Pride (yes, I am an affiliate and I will get a small commission if you purchase after clicking in with any of my links--but I am also a customer!!!) First I typed in Vitamin D-----hum--all that came up was Vitamin D3--what the H---. Then I went to check the pill sizes they have--I love that chart!! Score--they have the size that will go down my throat. BUT--does my Doc want me to take Vitamin D or Vitamin D3? I googled it and it turns out that Vitamin D3 is a lot safer then Vitamin D2 and you really should know what you are getting before you get it. There is A Vitamin D Council and lots of other places. Eye opening if I do say so!! There is a whole lot more to Vitamin D then most of us realize--and sun or lack there of has somewhat to do with it but not all. It turns out that Vitamin D is very important for our bodies!!
Thankfully Puritan's Pride has the strength and the size pill I need--at a really good price. My next stop--Puritan's Pride!

Gosh. I am like you and have trouble taking large pills. I like that they have a chart. So handy.
I have to take the vitamin d supplement as well :(. I was wondering why I was so exhausted too!
I take both of these supplements. With living in Washington we don't get much sunshine so the vitamin d is a much needed.
When I was younger, I have a problem same as yours. Hoping things will get better now for you! :)
I have upped all my vitamins, but mostly B6, D and C. I take them on top of my prenatals but I plan to continue after pregnancy too. Helps so much when you are always feeling SO tired. - Jeanine
I have to take B-12 as well because of my hypothyroidism. I should probably take vitamin D as well. I do try to get D more naturally with the sun, but here in Florida the sun is brutally hot so I stay indoors more than in the winter. I have never heard of Puritan's Pride brand, so I will have to check that out.
I take vitamin B12 and have done so for a while. It's great to have the option of adding supplements to your diet that help to improve your health.
I suffer from vitamin d deficiency and take vitamin d daily. But in liquid form. Mine vitamin d deficiency revealed a health issue.
That's really great, that they had the right one for you. I used to be a Vegetarian for a few years, and had to supplement with B12.
