Well--I made it to the doctor appointment on the right day this time and made it home just before the rain started thank heavens. I guess Murphy was asleep today!! Well-not really--I called up my Mom and because of my lost appointment book I had totally forgotten that I have to take her to a doctor's appointment tomorrow-then drop her off at the senior center so she can play mah-jongg-then someone hopefully will drive her home. Friday she has physical therapy. Maybe I can finish a book while I wait for her? I REALLY wish I hadn't lost my appointment book--at least my new one starts in December--one more month to go. It had to have been my cat who hid it somewhere--she has been trying to stop me from leaving the apartment-and she won't tell me her hiding place!
You would think with all the older people who live in this building that they would keep the heat on during the day--but no--it is freezing in here-the heat may come up at around 6 or 7 pm-by then I will be an icicle! And it is really kind of dark and dreary out there and it is raining
