My Cat Turned on My LAMP!

Baby, my cat has all sorts of tricks up her furry leg to get me up and out of bed at around midnight which is when she deems it time to have breakfast. I have told you about some of them--jumping on my legs or stomach, batting my computer mouse to the floor--turning my clock radio down as loudly as she can--and sometimes she is even nice about it. She will gently tap my arm with her paw while brushing her whiskers gently on my cheek. But this morning--she turned on the lamp on my desk which is in my bedroom!!

I am still sitting here trying to figure out how she managed it without tipping it over--all I know is I was rudely awoken with a light in my face and Baby glancing at the lit lamp and noticing how quickly it made me jump out of bed. This is one of those lamps that you have to turn the top for it to go on or off. There are grooves so I guess she could have gotten one of those sharp claws in one of the grooves and it turned. I only hope she doesn't remember how she did it!!
