Michael Phillip Cash is a master at word imagery--to read any one of his books (and I have read all eleven of them!!)will make you feel as though you are there-in the middle of the action. This novel was no exception!! I read it in one sitting--shivering at what was happening as the world as we know it was almost changed forever by a psychopathic megalomaniac who had convinced all that he was going to save the WORLD by putting the sick and undesirable people in 7 theme parks around the world-all to open simultaneously-for their and the general populations good. But what was his real reason? Would our high school friends be okay--would they all emerge from Monsterland the same as they entered it that fateful night?
About the Book: (from the back of the book)
WELCOME TO THE NEW THEME PARK
MONSTERLAND
THE SCARIEST PLACE ON EARTH
All guests can interact with real vampires in Vampire Village, be chased by actual werewolves on the River Run, and walk among the dead in Zombieville.
Wyatt, Melvin and Howard, three unpopular high school friends are stuck in Copper Valley, California. Nerdy Howard Drucker is oblivious to social cues. Melvin is an oddball outcast, and Wyatt is in love with the unattainable Jade--the most popular girl in school.
Due to a fortuitous circumstance, they are invited to the star-studded opening of Monsterland. In a theme park fill of real vampires, werewolves and zombies, what could possibly go wrong?

It sure must be a good one if you read it in one sitting. I love a book like that.
This does match the season perfectly. I will skip is. Scary movies and books are not for me
I like books that make me feel I am right in the middle of the action. I also like to read paranormal stories. I will look for this.
That sounds really scary! I'm not sure I can read this at night.
Ohhh! This sounds like a great, scary read! Perfect for Halloween!
Think I will pass on this one - not into vampires, etc kind of books. :(
My friend and her daughter love to read vampire books. This sounds like it would be right up their alley.

What a creepy storyline! It's perfect for this time of year!
This reminds me of the classic "Goosebumps" books I read as a kid. I love the idea, it sounds like a fun & thrilling read, and I really hope this ends up being a book because it would be exciting to 'experience' visually!
This one sounds scary... A perfect read for Halloween!
This one sounds interesting. I'm not really into the scarier kind of books (or movies) because they tend to get my mind going and then I freak myself out. But I have a friend who lives for this kind of thing! - Jeanine
I love how versatile the characters are. They seem like they will keep all readers on their toes.
