Chronicle Books have been around for quite a while you can see their mission statement here which is done in a way that you WILL Enjoy reading. It is done in the form of an infomercial!! According to their website their stated mission is

This is actually the type of book I prefer most. One that is of a subject I'm interested in and will allow me to learn something new along the way.
I love when I can learn when I read (yeah I am a book worm big time LOL). This would be a great place to get what I am looking to read. I will be checking out the website.
