I don't know about you but as I am getting older it is getting harder and harder to read the traditional meat thermometers while they are stuck in a piece of meat in the oven! I really could use one of these myself. Although I happen to prefer beef on the rare side I like my chicken done all the way!! I have burned myself more then a couple of times over the years trying to slice in to make sure it is the way I like it. Of course if I have guests I have to be really careful to make it the way they like it.
