If this book doesn't have you laughing out loud I don't know what will! Jen Casey who is now a high school English teacher in the same school she went to-she loves poetry and literature-she was even the president of the poetry club in high school. She really is a small town girl who is waiting for Mr. Right before she gets involved. Her friend--the phys ed teacher is just about her opposite. She should have kept her mouth shut when she saw that a boy she went to high school with but whose family had come into money was really living it up. Now here is this woman--knows little to nothing about men but thinks she can tell him a thing or two? Her friend gets her to email Celebrity news--on a dare. You see Jen has one little bitsy flaw--she can not resist a dare!! Instead of forwarding the email--Celebrity publishes it!!! That's when the fun begins.
I can't tell you anymore or I will give it up-and we all know I won't do that!! To find out what happens you will just have to pick up this book and read it. And for those of you wondering--yes, I think it would be fine for teens to read this one-after you have read it of course. By the way have some tissues ready at the end--you will need them!
Small-town practical to the soles of her size fives, high school English teacher Jen Casey has one weakness—she’s never been able to resist a dare. Ergo, when her BFF Candy Johnson throws down the triple-dog dare gauntlet, Jen has no choice but to accept the challenge. She e-mails former-classmate-turned-millionaire Brent Maddox, offering advice for the lovelorn.
But, really. Is it her fault Celebrity Magazine published the e-mail instead of forwarding it?
See, that’s the problem with dares in Jen’s experience—they almost always have dire consequences. Like Brent Maddox showing up on her doorstep—tall and golden and sexy as sin—determined to get payback. Like finding herself a reluctant guest at his sprawling Malibu hacienda, sentenced to a week of the same high life she blames for his romantic snafus.
Of course sparks start to fly. She’s only human, and Brent is an unexpectedly endearing hunk and a half. Unfortunately, Jen isn’t built for quick and steamy affairs. She’s been dreaming of that love of a lifetime man, and now she’s falling fast. She can run before it’s too late, or stay and take the biggest gamble of her life. Brent promises nights filled with passion, but will he ever offer his heart?

Sounds like a very interesting book! I'll definitely have to add it to my 'must read' list. I love getting new book suggestions <3
Sounds like a cool book. Thank you for the suggestion!
Thanks for the giveaway! I never really did anything with friends. ;)
This does indeed sound very interesting indeed. I love stories like this one. Now I have to read it to find out what happens at the end if we need tissues. Thanks for sharing.
The best dare I was given was going abroad before 20. And I made it!
That sounds like a fantastic read. I can not wait to get a copy of this so I can read it at the beach this summer.
Sounds like a great fun read apart from the tissues ending ;-)
This sounds like it is going to be a great read. I am like her and have issues turning down a dare and keeping my mouth shut!
I'm headed to the beach this week and this sounds like a perfect book to get! This is a great giveaway too!
This sounds like a book that I must add to my summer reading list. Very different and fun story. Thanks!
I can't even think of the funniest dare. I guess it would have to go back to middle school when my friend dared me to call a boy I liked. That was easier then because there was no caller ID...LOL!
This book looks perfect for me but if I hadn't read the description I wouldn't have had a clue fromt the cover. I LOVE the cover but it looks like something action packed with a cop lol not a funny romance which I LOVE!!
What a fun plot line! I bet this book would make a great movie too. I'm dying to know how it plays out!
That sounds hilarious! I have no clue about past dares. I am sure we played truth or dare when I was a kid but I can't remember any good ones.
This book sounds like it'd be a great holiday read. Thank you for the giveaway also :)
Hilarious! looks interesting to read, thank you for sharing!

Miki, thanks so much for reviewing FOR LOVE OR MONEY! Reading about how much you enjoyed the story really made my day!
A handsome hunk is always a draw! I can't wait to find out what happens in their relationship.
Sounds like a fun read. As a former high school English teacher, I'm sure I would get a kick out of it!

This sounds like a super cute book! I could totally see myself sipping a cup of tea and reading this one evening :)
Most dares had to do with drinking. I don't like to drink ,so I was the driver to and from parties. But my friends liked to do dares more then me. Maybe I missed out, but they had the a hangover the next day. ;-)
Thanks for the book review! I am always looking for new books to add to my queue! This looks very interesting and one that I will pass on to my book group! Thanks!
Not sure about funniest, but my most memorable dare was to kiss this boy. I was in middle school and it was my first kiss. I remember it feeling really slimy and afterwards I pulled back and said, "ewww." Poor kid. Lol.

Never really did anything with dares =)
The funniest dare I've ever been given is to dance naked in my friend's front yard in the middle of the night.
dare: to prank call my mother, did it and then she laughed too
It was prom and my friends dared me to slide across the floor, headfirst of course, after the boys. Yes, I did it. And yes, my dress stayed on.
