I was asked to review Scrigit--a portable small tool that helps you to remove all manner of labels, stuck on food etc. It says it is also good for opening shrink wrapped materials--you know those CD's you are dying to listen to IF you can get the shrink wrap off. I generally end up using a sharp steak knife for that procedure but I have cut myself on occasion so not such a great idea. I'm pretty lucky with my nails--they are hard and grow very quickly. I find myself using my nails not only for things I want to get off or open--but also for my Mom and clients! They generally have just had their nails done professionally or their nails just aren't strong and they know mine won't break as easily. I really do not mind helping everyone out--but I am not always around. My Mom of course will just bring whatever object it is to the car and I have to sit there and get the label off or open it BEFORE we can leave. Think I'll be handing my Mom one of the Scrigits I received but honestly she will probably still get me to do it!! I will be keeping one in the glove compartment for such occasions!!
What I am really happy about is that it helps get those labels off plastic contains--I recycle and try as I might I can never quite get those labels off and you really should not leave them on--And there is the remains of an old sticker on my rear window of my car--finally--I can get it off there. Strange how little things can make you very happy!!

This is so cool. I really hate getting into those sealed toy packages. If your not careful you can cut yourself. I would love to win one and drink Starbucks while I use it!!
Thanks for the giveaway! I like how safe this is to use instead of a dangerous. sharp knife. :)
DiD you say Starbucks and a GC to Scrigit? I am in and I am crossing my fingers I win
I know so many people love Starbucks, so I am sure this will be a popular giveaway!
I'd use it to get all those stickers off of things! I do wreck my nails that way!
I laughed about your mom. My mom would probably still make me do it too. ;) I learned that they have flat and round edges. I'd use it most to remove old box labels. I reuse my boxes when I mail things out and sometimes getting those labels off is a bear.
Awesome!! I love Starbucks! I wish they delivered though... lol
What a genius idea for a product! My nails break very easily, but labels are just annoying to try and peel off anyway even if they didn't break. This sounds like a perfect solution!
I learned they make a flat edge and rounded edge scraper. I'd use this to remove labels off of items instead of using my fingernails.
I have so many little fix it projects that would be taken care of it with this! And, I love a visit to Starbucks!
What a great tool. I am always struggling to open my daughter's new toys so I could definitely use it.

I always reuse boxes and getting rid of the labels is an issue. Thanks for the giveaway. I am afraid it will popular but I am still hopeful :)
I need something like this because my son is always putting stickers on stuff around our house!
This is a great giveaway. I always have trouble due to my long nails so this is very convenient.
This is a great little tool. I always end up tearing up my nails when I try to open up annoying wrapping like that.
I think these are great! I needed one today when I was scrapping a gummy label off an ink pad. I like the small size and the flat and round ends.
I refuse to throw away any glass jars. I love reusing them for crafts and other DIYs. I need one of these scrapers.
This is great! Love Starbucks!!! . I haven't ever seen those little scrape tools they look like they would be very handy! Very cool and convenient!
My nails are in terrible shape from all the scraping I do with them. I could really use a set of these!
These would be great to have for stickers and I think the flat edge would be great for scraping around my windows.
Great giveaway. I never do my nails because they get ruined so easily.
This is a very handy tool to have around. I might use it to remove sticker residue from items I buy.

Thanks for the giveaway! I like how safe this is to use instead of a dangerous. sharp knife
That’s a fantastic giveaway. Like me, people love free stuff so it thrills me to no end when I see it from blogs. The product will give everyone’s nails a chance to rest too.
how cool! this is what I needed.
This sounds like a good product. I am constantly hurting my nails trying to scrape the last of labels off of things, from vases to toys.

Great review, Miki! This looks like a very handy little tool!
What a great tool! I'm always breaking my fingernails opening boxes, or getting them all gooey scraping off price tags. I'd love to win this. I don't drink coffee but LOVE getting iced tea and pumpkin bread at Starbucks!
This sounds like something I or anyone could really use. Thanks so much for the sweet giveaway and information.
Very nifty tool. I don't know how many times I have messed up my nails doing similar tasks! Great giveaway by the way!
I so nee this as I am always struggling to open packages. Thanks for the chance to win
I learned it is great for reaching into tight spaces, grooves and crevices. I would use it to remove labels so I don't tear up my nails doing so!

I learned that the scraper is shaped like a human fingernail. I'd use it for scraping off all kinds of things around the house, garage and car.
Agreed! My nails are bad enough.Scrigit Scrapers seem to be ideal for Christmas time: ) afterall Santa doesn't leave price Tags
This looks like a very handy tool!
I didn't learn anything else new from their website. I, too, have strong thumbnails and lately have been using them to open those pesky pill packages that the pills are supposed to just pop out. They DON'T just pop out and sometimes even require scissors! I'm glad to have found out about Scrigit.
Awesome! This is so cool!
I would probably use it a lot for things like soap scum and opening plastic.
I could use this for so many things, from paint after I paint the walls or the kids gunk from the table.
I would use this for opening the packages foods come in mostly but, there seems to be a lot of uses.
I really like this tool and would love to win it! I could see it being great for things in the kitchen and bathroom; really anywhere though!
I Learned that the durable specially selected hygienic plastic used to make the scraper tool is safe to use on most household and automotive surfaces!!
I learned that the scraper is shaped like a human fingernail. Pretty cool and very handy!
I learned there is a rounded and flat edge scrapper. I would use to remove extra glue on crafting projects
Love his so cool
I think this would work much better than a butter knife.
I like the different tips. I'd use it most often to get price stickers off.
Thanks for the contest.

I would use this most in the kitchen. With 2 kiddos food get stuck all over the counters lol.
I learned that this tool removes small amounts of common substances, such as food, candle wax, etc. If I won, I would use it to remove candle wax.
What a great tool, I would use this around the house all the time. I like that you could use it to get candle wax off and paint.
I would use the Scrigit to get off stickers and wax among other things around the house. Sounds like a great tool to have around the house.
I learned that it is a tool, not a chemical, so I would feel comfortable using it almost on anything, including nails. I tend to favor more natural products, so that fact it's not a harsh chemical got me happy.
I learned this is a tool one id use on every cup thing ii buy that has sticker labels on them im a bit ocd and have to have them off

Great giveaway, thanks!
I would use this tool to scrape off labels from jars.
I learned the it's made of hygienic plastic and safe to use on plexiglass windows. I'll use it to scrape the paint off the glass on my french doors. No amount of razor blading seems to be able to get into the corners, I think the shape and size of this will be perfect!
I would use the Scrigit to open soda pop can ( because I bite my nails to the nub) and to scrape all the dried food that my kids leave on the counters. The counters are old tile and the grout is really hard to clean. I can see how the scrapper would really help out in cleaning the grout lines.
It has a round edge and a flat edge and I will use it to get stickers off my dishware!
I will use this tool for removing price stickers. I wish I had thought of this idea. :)
I learned how to use one and also the best places to keep them so you can find one when you need one.
I learned that there is a rounded edge and flat edged scraper. It would be really helpful for getting price stickers off purchases!
WOW! What a neat little tool the Scrigit is! I am always ruining my nails because I use them as tools,so I would really love one of these. I could use it to remove labels & clean gunk off things around the house.
This would come so in handy during the holidays when I am wrapping gifts to take the price tags off.
I learned that the design of the Scrigit Scraper cleaning tool is based on the shape of a finger nail as well as the shape of a pen and I would use this on adhesive labels.
I learned that The rounded wedge shape of the Scrigit Scraper is based on the shape of a finger nail
I learned this is safe to use on plexiglass windows. I would use this to get my makeup off my desk!
i always have problems with sticky labels!
I learned the Scrigit Scraper is a versatile cleaning tool that provides a quick, safe and convenient alternative to fingernails and other types of scrapers as a way to remove small amounts of common substances, such as food, candle wax, soap, paint, adhesive labels, grease and grime, from flat and curved household surfaces, such as dishes, kitchen and bathroom counter tops and floors. I would use it to scrape off adhesive labels from some of the items I buy.
I learned that the Scrigit Scraper has two scrapers on it: a rounded edge scraper and a flat edge scraper. I would use it to remove paint from the edges of my mirror. I tried to use my fingernails, but they weren't strong enough to get it all off. This would be perfect for that.
