I know its tradition to have Corned Beef and Cabbage, but it is not one of my favorites. I think I'll forego that tradition.

We always have the corn beef and cabbage, the soda bread is my favorite. Being half Irish we've always celebrated St. Patrick's Day with family and friends.

I go to my aunts house for corned beef and cabbage with potatoes and carrots. We also have pistachio cake and the kids dye their soda green (green beer) lol

No corn beef and cabbage for us as my boyfriend doesn't like it. I, however, love it and hope to at least get my hands on a good corned beef sandwich before long. No celebrations planned for the St Pattys Day holiday this year.
I always cook corned beef, cabbage, and potatoes. It's one of my favorite meals so I don't pass up an opportunity to have it.

I actually do have some Irish blood from my grandmother, but I haven't "celebrated" St. Pat's since I was in my 20's and would go to the nearest college town and drink green beer. I am sure glad I grew out of that!

We add our own twist to the traditional dinner. Instead of corned beef we make Haluski !! We go to our towns parade the weekend before St Pattys day. 🍀

Here in Belgium St Patrick's Day isn't really a thing so I don't celebrate it, although green is my favorite color ;)

My husband does make himself corned beef, but since I am a VEGAN I do not go near the stuff! This year instead of cabbage though we roasted brussel sprouts and potatoes and they were delicious! We also celebrate by wearing green and drinking green beer.

Of course well my grand pop did because I was at work til 430 and he did make corned beef and potatoes, ham, coleslaw salad and my aunt made some homemade mac&cheese. It was delicious.

I had a really long day at work on St. Patrick's Day - clocked in at 6:30am and worked until 10:30pm - so I didn't do anything to celebrate. I even forgot to wear green. Oops!

I did not make corned beef and cabbage, but I do have a story to share. Oh, and we wear green on St. Patrick's Day! Anyway, I decided to dye my hair that day. Little did I know, I ended with with more reddish colors in my hair than it was suppose to be! What a perfect day for that to end up happening. My great grandmother was full blooded Irish. I naturally have red tones in my hair and they just happened to burst with bold red colors after dying my hair. It was suppose to be a black color with a slight hint of auburn.

About the only thing we do on St. Patrick's Day is wear something green. This is despite the fact that somewhere in my American melting pot background, there are definitely some ancestors from Ireland!
Yeap we had corned beef and cabbage and gluten free soda bread, with broccoli had to stay green.. made Irish crème sodas for my granddaughters and they loved it.
