  37. I actually do have some Irish blood from my grandmother, but I haven't "celebrated" St. Pat's since I was in my 20's and would go to the nearest college town and drink green beer. I am sure glad I grew out of that!

  145. My husband does make himself corned beef, but since I am a VEGAN I do not go near the stuff! This year instead of cabbage though we roasted brussel sprouts and potatoes and they were delicious! We also celebrate by wearing green and drinking green beer.

  153. I had a really long day at work on St. Patrick's Day - clocked in at 6:30am and worked until 10:30pm - so I didn't do anything to celebrate. I even forgot to wear green. Oops!

  155. I did not make corned beef and cabbage, but I do have a story to share. Oh, and we wear green on St. Patrick's Day! Anyway, I decided to dye my hair that day. Little did I know, I ended with with more reddish colors in my hair than it was suppose to be! What a perfect day for that to end up happening. My great grandmother was full blooded Irish. I naturally have red tones in my hair and they just happened to burst with bold red colors after dying my hair. It was suppose to be a black color with a slight hint of auburn.
