Valentine's Day is fast approaching so what better time to let my readers know which Romance Book I really LOVE!!
My absolute favorite romance of all time is "Gone With the Wind"-but since I have never reviewed that one and read it so very long ago I will go with:
I felt like I waited forever for this book by Kathleen Shoop. I actually read it as part of Holiday Bliss, a three book anthology by 3 wonderful authors ( see my review of that book here ). Tending Her Heart is the continuation of The Endless Love series. Click on the links to see my reviews of them
Home Again
Return to Love
She is also the author of The Fog and The Last Letter which are possibly 2 of the best books I have ever read!!
Tending Her Heart can be read as a stand alone but it did help that I read the previous books in this series of novellas first! Julie Peters is a nurse on a mission. She is bound and determined to modernize protocols about hospital births and how woman are treated at the hospital where she works. The protocols in place are nothing if not barbaric! Of course there is a young doctor who really does agree, but is initially afraid to buck the system, and there is "immediate chemistry"--but Julie is stubborn.
Thanksgiving is fast approaching--Julie finds herself homeless until April (the current resident of Bliss-that historic old house) invites her to stay at Bliss. April's husband is still overseas. Julie had helped April to recover in the last book.
Michael. that young doctor, who really has fallen head over heels for Julie, is invited for Thanksgiving dinner. Has he found the perfect solution for Julie? Will they get together? Will she even give him a chance? Read the book--read the series--read anything and everything Kathleen Shoop writes. You will not be disappointed! And now I have to wait for the next book--what will it be I wonder?

Homeless until April? How sad...but since it's romance, we know it'll be great!
This could be a really cute book. It would be interesting to read from the POV of someone who has become homeless.
