This is a book everybody with a teen should read, anyone with a child actually. Zoe's tale as revealed in her computer diary after her death will both sadden and enlighten you. The Tumultuous life led by this unassuming teen, unknown to all but a very few close friends (who did not even know the whole story). She lived with a guilt that no one should have to live with. She lived with a depression so deep no one could seen to alleviate it, if they even noticed it. Unless it is to start a discussion with your child I am not certain at all that they should read this-but that is up to you.
This author certainly did not pull any punches as he describes the bullying, the rape and the eventual accidental death of this teen. Or was it an accident--I wonder----

Sounds like it would be a tough read for a parent. The reality is bad things do happen but it is so important to speak to your kids and be an open door for them.
IT's a topic that scares all parents, but one I don't want to ever happen to anyone. Would be a hard read for me.
Oh goodness - challenging topics that are incredible necessary to discuss in this day and age.

Definitely some heavy topics in this book. But like the others have said, if it opens up dialog between teen and parent, then it's a step in the right direction.
Oh This would be a great read for a teenager. I liked books like this when I was in school.

It's horrible to think that society has come to this. This is what teens have to fear. Back in the day, this would have been a horror book. Now it's just everyday life. So sad.
My kids are nearing their teenage years, so this would be interesting to read.
These kind of topics are so scary to have but HAVE to be had.

This sounds a little heavy for my usual read - but it does sound like one amazingly thrilling story!
Stories like this terrify me because they can so easily become YOUR story. Even great parents who think they're doing/trying to do everything right can be blindsided by so much unknown.
