Michele Hanson is married to the love of her life and living happily with him and his daughter and her son. They have written a book together about Triathlons which has been published by her employer. Then, the night before their anniversary he took his bike and went to pick up something at the store--he didn't wear his helmet. He was killed by a hit and run driver. Michele is devastated and is barely there for her children. She is positive that there is someone stalking her family-but can she convince the police? She decides to run the Kona Ironman Triathlon even though her husband will not be running it with her.

This book will grab at your heart strings, make you gasp (at some of the antics her children pull) and make you want to commit murder yourself on occasion! Michele's mother is a pain! Her father is a doll. Her Ex--well---And as for who done it--read the book you will be happy you did!

About the Book: (from Amazon)

The newest romantic mystery from the bestselling author of the Katie & Annalise series!
Going for Kona has it all: unforgettable characters, an epic love story, and a page-turning mystery that will keep you guessing until the last page.

When her husband is killed in a hit-and-run bicycling accident, it takes all of Michele Lopez Hanson’s strength not to burrow into their bed for the rest of her life. But their kids need her, and she promised herself she’d do the Kona Ironman Triathlon in Adrian’s honor, and someone seems to be stalking her family, so she slogs through the pain to keep herself on track. Her dangerously delirious training sessions become a link between her and Adrian, and she discovers that if she keeps moving fast enough to fly, she can hold onto her husband—even as she loses her grip on herself and faces her biggest danger yet.

Sounds like an interesting read and I'm not sure if I personally would have want to do a triathlon after my husband dies but kudos to her!

As a runner, this sounds like an interesting read. Running can be therapeutic and can offer the time you need to think through things alone.

Sounds like a great read with a strong female leading character. Sometimes in desperation and depression we find our strongest self.
