I actually won this book and loved it so much I just had to review it on my blog. This is mostly a happily ever after story at least the ending is--with a tinge of sadness. well maybe more then a tinge. When Zach is read his grandfather's last will and testament he is floored. In order not to lose his entire multimillion dollar business he has to marry and stay married for 1 full year, or the company will be sold and the proceeds given to charity. So, he does what any smart businessman would do--he interviews woman for the position! His criteria actually endeared me to him--once I knew what it was! Andie applied for the job--and got it and one million dollars which she desperately needed "for Nick"-everything she did was "for Nick". Even though this was a "business arrangement" they proceeded to fall in love-they were perfect for one another--then a whole lot of misunderstandings started happening and it seemed like they were doomed. FINALLY Zach discovers who "Nick" is and they get together again. This is where it gets really heartbreaking. The story ends on a very positive note--The only other thing I will tell you -besides that you really have to read this book--is that Zach has a slight problem with hospitals and blood---which will make you chuckle! One other side note-I will definitely be reading more of Taylor Deans books!!
About the book: (from Amazon)
Contemporary Romance
What would you do for love?
Zachary Drake had love in his life—and tragically lost it. He knows it won’t come his way again. Andie Parker would do anything for the love of her life.
Even marry a total stranger.
In spite of the unorthodox manner in which Zach and Andie come together, there is no denying that things are unexpectedly good between them, taking them both by surprise.
However, when secrets come between them—and trust does not—Andie soon finds herself vowing to never make the same mistake again. But, she’d do it again in a heartbeat and she knows it. She’d marry a hundred strangers if it helped Nick. She’d do anything for Nick . . . anything.
