Freya-Intensive Anti-Aging Serum

I received this product from Freya and the Mommerce Community free of charge for the purpose of review. All opinions are my own.

I am not going to deny it--this winter has played havoc with my overly sensitive skin. Between the extreme cold outside and the excessive dryness inside I was sporting red patchy sometimes peeling areas around every crease on my face. The sides of my nose were the worst but my forehead was quickly catching up as were the sides of my mouth. Not a very pretty picture! I was a little skeptical when asked to try Freya's Scandinavian Skin Science Intensive Anti-Aging Serum but figured at my age it certainly could not hurt! I wasn't really sure what to expect as I rarely use any kind of cream, serum on my face at all.

It arrived at my door and my cat was immediately intrigued by the small box and insisted I open it immediately--to keep it from being stolen (with the contents inside), I did. After reading the box-lots of info on there-I took the 1.0 fl oz bottle out and opened it. What hit me first was the marvelous smell--It reminds me of an expensive perfume but for the life of me I can not recall the name. Per the instructions I thoroughly washed my face then applied the serum liberally to my entire face and neck. I did add a little extra to those dry spots. As recommended I applied twice a day-morning and night. The serum is not greasy and your skin soaks it right in. It took a week but the redness is gone!! What I am also noticing now is that the age spot on my face (on my upper cheek bone) is slightly fading!!!

Here is what Freya says about this product:

"Experience the game-changing power of the LEXA™ complex in this, Freya's most potent regenerative serum. By harnessing the best of Scandinavian BioMarine research, the Intensive Anti-Aging serum serves as an optimal tool to rebuild, restore, and revitalize skin on a cellular level.

Freya Intensive Anti-Aging serum contains the most powerful concentration of Nano-Encapsulated Marine Omega-3, the uniquely preserved and singularly pure ingredient which allows for reduced inflammation, heightened elasticity, and visibly improved skin tone.

Skin is supple. Radiant. Visibly transformed.
Benefits:

dramatic visible reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
improved skin tone, reducing redness and the appearance of age spots
imparts an ageless radiance and luminosity"

To read more about this marvelous serum, it's proprietary ingredients and how it all came about go to their website, it is really interesting.

I can honestly say that this is the first anti aging serum I have tried that fully lives up to what it promises!

I am just starting to get to get some laugh lines and small crows feet by my eyes. I should look into this and see if I can beat them before they get worse.

I'm so the same - winter skin sucks. This sounds lovely - I stayed away from serums to last year but I actually really like them now. x

Winter skin is the worst skin to have. Dry and flaky, yuck!

Age Spots fading - I am sold. I have tried so many products that claim that and they have all failed. I love that this is also non-greasy, it sounds perfect.

I'm 22 so anti-aging is not one of my concerns yet. However, this is an awesome gift idea for some family members.

That bottle is really pretty. Love when beauty companies put in a little extra effort and really pay attention to their packaging and presentation. It's even better that it worked out so well for you and that you can really enjoy it.
