I learned that as of 2014 there were 4 billion mobile phone users. That is definitely a lot of mobile phones.

What I learned is that a lot of people are wanting to depend more and more on technology. Example: 49% of Adults under the age of 25 have never written a check or used a check book. A lot of people are using online bill pay services and some say they would prefer to get rid of cash permanently.

It seems that the smartphones and appls that go on them are rapidly expanding all over the world. Info has changed hugely.
I guess I'm surprised that barcode scanning increased by 1600%. I have an Android, and I find that the Apps really slow it down. However, i could not live without a smartphone now. i could use an upgrade.
That by 2019 we may use smart phone mobile wallets as payment.Deb P
