This is the story of a brand new teacher attempting to find her way in an inner city school. The principal is a guy from literally hell who really gives her a tough time. The kids-well-lets just say they are a challenge until she finally figures out how to reach them. She lives with 2 other teachers who are her best friends-and sometimes her worst enemies. When Carolyn meets up with an older man in a bar one evening she is in love-but doesn't trust herself enough. She does get rid of the boyfriend of many years thankfully. YES-and if you are sentimental (which I am) tears should be flowing at the happy ending. I read this book very quickly-I kept wanting to know what was going to happen next. Kathleen Shoop has written a book which will resonate with many readers on many different levels. 5 Star-Definitely!

If I had to choose, it would definitely be my career path because I am already married to the perfect man for me. This sounds like a very good read.
I bet a lot of people will be able to relate to this book. So many people come out of college and aren't ready for what's ahead. It sounds like a great read!

Inner city schools are tough, even for those with a good heart. Of course inner city schools NEED people with a good heart in there doing all they can, but that doesn't make the struggle any less real (for everyone). It sounds like a great storyline!
Sounds like a great book! I dread making choices because we have to live with the choices we make for the rest of our lives, right? But if I have to, then I would choose career at this point because I already have a loving family who will support me through thick and thin and I know they will be there for me for support.

Career. I'm 25, never been in a relationship longer then 4 months, never been in love. I have my kids & they're all I need. A career would get me a lot father in life then a guy will.
& My perfect career/dream job is to be a meteorologist / Storm Chaser. I've wanted to be one since I was 5.
