Book Review - Deadly Provocation - T.F. Coleman

I opened the cover of this book and thought that I was reading a forward at first--but no, it was the beginning of the book! What a great beginning it was! This is fiction that borders on the believable about what could happen if government surveillance was used for ALL citizens without their knowledge. About how this knowledge could be used by power hungry individuals to harass and possibly cause the demise of certain populations.

I suggest you click below and read the first couple of chapters-I can almost guarantee that you will want to purchase and read this book!! This short 223 page book will keep you enthralled from cover to cover!

About the Book: (from Amazon)

With every syllable spoken, every word written, and every step taken recorded, evaluated and rated, there are two things missing; the entire truth and the absolute intent.

When obsessive power meets paranoia.

Jake Conley is thrust into the spotlight after stopping a deranged gunman at an L.A. theater, his new-found fame gets the attention of a private surveillance consulting company that recruits him to be a public relations asset and field consultant working in the world of data mining, hidden cameras, and drones. The benefits are overwhelming and seem to include a beautiful young woman from Venezuela, Medalia Mendoza, daughter of one of the company’s biggest financial contributors, and whose mother has been missing for the last five years. Questions about the company’s integrity and Conley’s role with it mount until he is faced with the life and death decisions that affect everyone involved.

About the Author(from Amazon)

I'm an engineer by degree, a computer programmer by trade, and a creative writer at heart. My background and personality tend to make my writing heavy on logic and very methodical, with deeply embedded themes and subtle plot twists. My Grandmother got me started reading when she gave me her paperback collection of Alistair MacLean and John D. MacDonald novels. I'm greatly influenced by Hemingway, including his adoration of his cats, although mine aren't six-toed. I love nature with its wide variety of life and spectacular earthly landscapes.

It would not surprise me if there were already cameras everywhere being used by the government. My husband and oldest would probably love this book, I will send my husband the link, he is looking for a new one to read.
