I get bronchitis very easily. I happen to be allergic to my own germs which morph into bronchitis if I don’t do something pretty quickly! I always carry my Atrovent inhaler in my pocketbook just in case! I try not to use it too often because it is expensive and my insurance will not pay for the brand name! However, it is very difficult to breathe when your bronchial tubes are closing up on you!! You definitely need a prescription for this inhaler and should check around for pricing as different places charge different amounts.
