Elitemama's Review:
I was given a wonderful opportunity to review Seth Kornegay's luxury perfume. I had a hard time choosing the perfume I wanted to review, but after a while, I chose one that I thought would be the perfect scent.
This is Petra Perfume ($365). This unisex fragrance represents the height of luxury and refinement. It is truly one of the rarest and most unique fragrances Seth Kornegay has ever created. It uniquely includes Islay single-malt Scotch whiskey. The Petra perfume expands the boundaries of traditional fragrance ingredients - tumbling over into the epicurean world. It features Sensual Amber notes that are melded with Alpine Freshness and the unique combination of white and dark woody notes which are exquisitely combines with exotic, wild Northern herbs and rare bark with high-class Islay single-malt Scotch whiskey.
To be honest, I was never a perfume kind of gal. I guess I could say it's because I have never found the right scent, one that catches my senses. I used to be a fan of this Cotton Candy scent back in middle school, but that was then, lol. It was also generic, so it never lasted. I remember having to spray it a few times throughout the day because after a while, the scent would fade. I've noticed that with cheap perfumes that you find at the dollar store. Other perfumes that are "high-end" like celebrity perfumes and colones are not so great. They can become to strong on the senses and I've noticed some people tend to over spray and it stings the nose when they pass by. No offense to anyone! Lol.
With the Seth Kornegay perfume/cologne, it's quite different compared to what you find in the stores. To be honest, I am a fan of the scent! I love wearing it when I am going out with the husband or even around the house. The perfume it smooth, has a hint of sweetness to it, it's kind of woody and earthy, and it almost smells like Egyptian must in a way. It's a pleasant spell that lasts a long time. It's not like other perfumes that need to be sprayed after a few hours. Once you spray the perfume on you, it will last the whole day and even into the next. I find it best to spray on the front of the shirt than the skin because it makes the perfume last a lot longer. And you only need to spray it once! This perfume from Seth Kornegay is honestly the best perfume that I have ever smelled and it will last a long time.
