This book is a non stop thriller which will keep you reading all through the night--so start it early in the day if you can!! Greed plays a very big part but thankfully the ending will make you sigh with relief!!
Charlie Rocklin, essentially a loner really has trouble when he picks partners, whether on a personal or a business basis. Charlie is an honest guy who really wants to find some kind of historical finds deep below the oceans surface and yes, it would help if he made some money!-at the beginning he comes off as a kind of a wimp-but as the story progresses so does Charlie! When he finds a U-boat from World War II deep down in American Waters-people start appearing in his life-some good--some not so good.
The quote this book starts with says it best:
"The treasure was buried where he started, but it's the journey that takes us to our destiny."
-Paulo Coelho
The Alchemists
From the Back of the Book:
When Charlie Rocklin and his company Gold Diggers Exploration set out to recover a 17th century shipwreck, they discover an undocumented Nazi submarine with enigmatic symbols. Ariel Ellis, a femme fatale historian with a mysterious past, proves that the U-boat contains the key to a formula more valuable than any sunken treasure, and more deadly than any weapon that has ever existed.
In this globetrotting international adventure, Charlie and Ariel uncover an accelerating tempest of secrecy, lies, and agendas, fighting not only for the truth, but for their lives.
Weiss's debut novel is a lightning-paced story with surprises at every turn, and shows us that our personal legends may be more real than we ever could have imagined.
This book can be purchased at Amazon and Barnes & Noble

Admittedly, I probably wouldn't pick up a book like this on my own. I don't normally read thrillers, but every once in a while I pick one up that surprises me. This sounds like it's worth a look.
Sounds like my kind of book. I love thrillers and when things turn out to be not what you expect.
