As anyone who reads, enters giveaways on or even glances at my blog know I love to read—I love books. It is rare that I can not find something about a book that I do not like—I kind of stop at porn and really steamy novels—just can’t get into them! Not too fond of self help books but will read and review them if the topic interests me, non-fiction is also not one of my preferred genres. Give me an historical romance, mystery, thriller –add in some time travel and magic or foreign countries and I’m in readers heaven! But—to pin me down to just one or two favorite authors? No can do-and with all the new authors I’ve been reading lately—impossible!!
There are a few that I literally run out to BUY their newest release (unless I am lucky enough to get one to review!)-so who are they you ask—these are not in any particular order. And there are certainly more who I would love to read more of—time permitting!
Jane Feather
James Patterson
Stephanie Laurens
Teresa Medeiros
Sherryl Woods
Maya Banks

I am not sure I have a favorite author, I have a love of books. I too stop at really erotic/porn. I actually received a book from my mother one time that she loved and I could not get through the first few pages because of how in depth it went, lol. I will stick to my more innocent books!
i enjoy Jude Deveraux, Bertrice Small, and a few others
Here's the short list of my fave authors: J.M. Tohline, Michelle Sagara (Chronicles of Elantra series), Anne Bishop, John Sandford (Lucas Davenport and Virgil Flowers series), Lee Child (Jack Reacher), Kevin Hearnes (Iron Druid), J.D. Robb (In Death), Stacia Kane (Downside Ghosts)and Ilona Andrews (Kate Daniels series).
Quite like the odd book myself :-) for years now I have loved books by Margaret Dickinson and Mary E Pearce, good old fashioned fiction. Since reviewing books two more authors have now entered the list, Sheri Meshal with Swallowtail and Dr Jerry Burgener with Desert Journey and Return to the Desert, both very special in their own ways. I think you might enjoy both of them.
I have to say that m;y favorite author is the versatile and multi talented, Nora Jones.
I have always loved true crime books and I have recently started doing book reviews so I am hoping to finally find a favorite author
So many authors that come through my life, Michelle! Hard to choose.
I do love Ann Rice, M. Sagara, Ghandi, Tolkins, Joseph Campbell with his amazing series of book on Hero Quest in everybody's life.
Thank you for this invitation to reflect on our favorite authors.
I'm weird I think...I'm a HUGE fan of Elizabeth Gage and that's about it. Any other books I read tend to be out of boredom :)
One of my top favorite authors is Margaret Atwood. I have every book and poetry collection she has ever published, and I think she just continues to get more amazing. I am also a huge poetry fan and cannot get enough of Anne Sexton.
I do not have a favorite Author, but I always liked V.C. Andrews. I was much younger when I read Flowers in the Attic.
I love to read anything inspirational and romance book . But i dont have any fav author.
John Grisham!
I also love to read! Although I don't read as much as I would like lately. My very favorite author is Tami Hoag. She writes great books.
I'm into Young Adult right now for some reason. I love Aaron Patterson's Airel trilogy and Heather Burch's Halflings series. Totally worth the read!
Tiffany
I am not familiar with the author you listed here, however it seems to be very good ones. I like j.k. rowling.
I go through phases. Right now I'm a self-help phase so there's really no one author. I went through a Gregory Maguire phase for awhile. I started with Wicked...then read everything! :)
The moment Amy Tan comes out with a new book, I HAVE to read it. The Joy Luck Club is one of my all-time favorites that I read again and again.
I haven't had time to read a book in quite a while. But, one of my favorites was always Nora Roberts.
