I was told about Skinny Pop from one of my friends online and she raved about it so much I decided to see if they would send me a sample so I could see for myself. The way my friend described it, it sounded like it would be safe for me, a diabetic, to eat it!! Well, the people at Skinny Pop agreed and a large box filled with 12 4.4 oz bags (large bags) appeared at my door on Thursday. I immediately read the back of one of the bags and was VERY happy to find that not only could I eat it but I could eat quite a bit of it!

First off-which makes me very happy- it is “Popped Skinny in the USA”

It is all natural, cholesterol free, zero trans fat, dairy free, peanut free, tree nut free, gluten free, preservative free, non GMO and a good source of fiber. So, what is in it? All natural popcorn, Sunflower Oil and Salt—end of sentence.

What had me jumping for joy was the Nutrition Facts:

After consuming ¾ of a bag I figured maybe I should test my blood sugar—I did eat more then I should have—but it is soooooo good!! My blood sugar was fine!!!! And as I am sitting here writing this I am thinking that since I still have some of the diabetic chocolate syrup I bought from Waldens----how delicious it would taste drizzled over this popcorn as a special treat.

Even if you are not diabetic you WILL LOVE this Pop Corn and if you can not find it in a local store—you can order it on line.
