Sleep? HAH—I now get up to feed her between 1:30 and 2 AM or I get bounced on, or my hand gets nipped or any other number of things are thrown around—batted around LOUDLY of course. Books on my side table get batted to the floor. In all honesty she does try to get me to bed early so I get some sleep. And of course SHE gets a spurt of energy at around 11 PM.
Last night she managed to scare even herself—I still don’t quite believe it —but suddenly she literally (from ground level) jumped up on the wall almost to the ceiling—the descent scared her to death—I have a free standing mirror which almost fell over on her and as I noticed this morning I think she managed to disconnect my Fios from the wall (suddenly no lights showing, I will check when it is daylight)—so she obviously needed to be petted and otherwise reassured that all was well. Now one thing she almost never does is sleep on top of me—last night she cuddled right up. Oh-did I mention I have to sleep on my back? Just in case she feels the need to walk and lie down on my tummy for a short while. IF I turn to my side—there she is—standing on my hip which I can say for certainty is not only painful but gets me to turn onto my back very quickly.
She looks so sweet and peaceful in this pic—doesn’t she—and as long as I do what she wants when she wants—she is—do not doubt I love her to pieces—cause I do—even though she has turned my life upside down!!

What a beautiful cat you have. My cat likes to do the same thing. Be right on top of me when I am sleeping. lol
Look at those eyes!! She knows she has you wrapped :)
She's a beauty! Cats are funny creatures aren't they? last night our cat wanted my husband's attention; but he was busy doing homework. So he slyly went up to the husband; put his mouth up to the husbands arm and then playfully started chewing and nipping on the husband's arm! So funny!
Beautiful, I love this beautiful picture with this interesting cat, Alpha is gorgeous.
This is the kind of story I cannot share with my husband!! I have always wanted a cat, and I might get one one day (my husband is not much of a hairy animal lover). But oh, this is funny!! She is a cutie, but she sounds like she is crazy (in a godo way)
How funny that you cat wakes you up in the night for food. Crazy cats are the best.
Come onna my house...for kittens :o) I have 5 and they are 4 days old now.
What a gorgeous cat!!! She is a real beauty!
What a gorgeous cat! I love mine, too! And yes, it seems they always make my life change for the better!
Pets do certainly have a way of turning your life around. I know what a joy having one will bring our home, just as it has yours. But I think I'll wait until the kids are older and can play more gently.
Ha ha ha!!! She is so pretty!!!
