I know, I know—I am 62 years old but I still love to cuddle with stuffed animals. I have a big stuffed dog sitting proudly in my living room and many more scattered around. This stuffed pet was given to me by a person I worked with just after my last dog-a mixed Shepard traveled over the rainbow. I was desolate, I was lonely, I was miserable and I actually slept with this stuffed dog for months until Gremlin adopted me. My first cat, Gremlin, used to cuddle next to this “big animal” when he was nervous or scared or if he had done something he knew he should not have done. That cat was positive that the “dog” would protect him from me. Strangely enough it worked! And I think my current kitty, Baby also uses him as a Rock of Gibraltar. But—when I am sitting on my couch watching a scary movie or a program which is getting ME nervous-- and my brat cat won’t come and cuddle with me (most of the time she prefers to lounge on the back of the couch so she knows exactly where I am!) I really could use something soft and cuddly.
I think it is time to obtain another stuffed animal—one that not only can I hold tight in my arms-but one that I can lie my head on or hide my eyes with. And admittedly, like last night-I sometimes fall asleep watching TV. I then wake up with a stiff neck which takes most of the rest of the night to relax enough to go back to sleep.. I have
seen pillow pets not only online but also a couple of them owned by others I know (or their children)-this seems like the perfect solution for me. They are in the shape of animals. They are both soft and cuddly. And can be turned into a pillow as well. What more could I ask for? .

My aunt bought me a bumblebee pillow pet few years ago. I wasn't comfortable with two pillows and three made it feel like I was sleeping sitting up. Its the perfect solution! I love it and sleep with it every night.
I also have stuffed animals in my living room and have considered buying the pillow pets. Thanks for sharing.
personally I do not like stuffed animals, I think they are dust magnets. They do alot of harm to my daughter's asthma, I threw a bunch away recently because of it.
I like a good pillow too. My 12 yr old uses her pillow pet as a regular pillow. Try those.
I grew up with tons of stuffed animals now my kids love them too specially my daughter. Great post!
I always loved stuffed animals as I was growing up, and my daughter loves them now as well. We don't have pillow pets although my daughter has begged me for them!
I find that the different shapes of a stuffed animal are good for body support when I am sleeping!
I love them too! When I was little I had them lined up all around me from my head to my feet and all along my sides. I would love a pillow pet now!
I don't have a pet pillow but I think this is a wonderful idea for those who love pets but are perhaps allergic to them LOL.
I love stuffed animals, I know they can be dust collectors so I wash the ones I have out, but there is something comforting about them. Your cat is beautiful!
Everyone needs a cuddle at some point. Pretty kitty.
